Kaffir Lime leaves: Bahasa: daun jeruk purut. Lime-lemon aroma of this leaves. Member of the citrus family. Grew troughout Southeast Asia. Use in cooking and flavor for curry. Many families in Indonesia used the leaves to flavor for desserts. Dark green, glossy leaves look like figure of eight.
Kashk: Farsi. Is drained, salted and sun-dried yogurt.
Khaviar: Farsi. Khaviar:Caviar is the unfertilized, processed roe of the sturgeon fish. The best caviar comes from
caspian sea.
Kenari: Bahasa. Soft oily nut found in Maluku Island. Almonds is the closest subtitute.
Kerupuk: Bahasa. This dried wafers made from tapioca starch. Also known as shrimp crackers, fish crackers, plain crackers and sometimes have onion or garlic flavours. To cook: heat the pan or wok on the medium hot with oil. After the oil hot, deep-fry the cracker until they puff up.
