Sambal Bubur, Indonesian Sambal Recipes:

Serve this Sambal Bubur and you will taste the difference with or without it. Try little of it first then you can adjust the heat."Shhhhelamat Meenikhhmati... Slurpiiih...!!!"

Sambal Bubur / Porridge Hot Sauce

1/2 lb red bird's eye chilies
2 tomatoes
3 TB sugar
1 tsp salt
1 TB sugar
2 TB rice vinegar
1/2 cup water

1/2 cup water

In small sauce pan, boil the tomatoes and chilies until soft. When little bit cool, pour into a blender and blend it into a paste. Add the rest of the ingredients and pour into a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the liquid is almost gone. Pour in the oil,lower the heat and continue frying for about 15 minutes. Adjust the taste and serve.
