Royal Frosting & Cookie Frosting Recipe

Royal Frosting

3 TB meringue powder
4 cups sifted powdered sugar
6 TB water

Beat all ingredients at medium speed for 10 minutes or until icing form peaks.
Make variety of flowers ahead of time, let it dry for future use. Place the dried flower in box, away from light exposure so the color will not fade.

Cookie Frosting

16 oz powdered sugar
3 TB meringue powder
1/3 cup warm water

Mix all the ingredients at medium speed for about 5 minutes. If you draw a line with knife and you get clean-cut path, the icing is ready. Cover with damp towel always and you may tint it with color. Use to decorate cookie. If you want to be creative, make color full icing, draw a line, fill it on top of drawing to make images. Let it dry for about 3 days, run the small angled spatula underneath it, there you have image to place on top of cake.
