I did my roses backward somehow. Some people do the stick turning from the middle of index finger to the tip of the index finger. The way I did, from the tip of index finger to the middle of the index finger. Both ways, using the thumb as your guidance to turn the stick around.

1. The roses tip, wide end on the bottom, touch the tip of the stick slightly. (Squeeze the bag with the same
pressure at all time to create smooth and even looks on your rose). Squeeze the frosting and bring the frosting down to
create a nice first bud on your roses. This is the most important part of the roses. Top view picture provided.
2. Turn back the stick to the step 1 and add 2 petals on front of each other.


3. Turn back the stick to the step 1 and add 3 petal in between of the 2 petals.
4. Turn back the stick to the step 1 and add 5 petals in between of the 3 petals. With the pointy scissors, lift the rose from the stick slowly and you can turn the stick slightly to make it easier. Place the rose on the cake to complete the decorations.
