Frosting Sheet Cake, Step by Step:
Level the cake, get rid of any edges that hanging over the cake. Crumb coat the cake using small amount of icing. At this stage, you can chill the cake if you need to.
1. Hold the bag at 45º angled, slightly squeeze a ribbon of frosting around the sides of the cake slowly as you turn the table slowly.

2. Place medium amount of frosting on the center of top of the cake, spread accross, smooth the top of the cake then continue to do the sides by holding the spatula straight up.
3. This time, squeeze a ribbon of frosting on the top sides of the cake.

4. There are 2 choices in here. Using a smoother or using a comb. If the cake need nuts or for kids decorations or you just don't have the confident yet in frosting the cake, then go ahead, use the comb.
Hold the smoother straigh up and start smoothing the sides slowly but keep in mind when you are about to come around the corner. Stop right on the corner then turn your table so the sides you are about to frost is on front of you. When you are about ready to turn, make sure to make a litlle sharp edges for the corner sides. (Yes... you will get this eventually)

5. Now take the longer spatula, push the spatula away from you and turn the table as you go until you get smooth top. Do this technique all over the top sides. After you are done, choose the tallest side and with one push, push the spatula to the shortest side. One long stroke and that's it. Done... The more you mess with it, the more sometimes the crumbs will come out. If you have litlle cake showing, you will cover them with decorations. Clean the board and start decorating.

Decorator's Note:
A. Hold your smoother straight up, put yourleft hand on the turn table and start turning slowly and don't stop too sudden. The trick is to stop slowly and take your smoother away as you stop.
B. Do the same technique as the smoother. Hold the comb straight up or you can hold the comb up side down as you turn the table to create different looks.
