
1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Sift all the dry ingredients and set aside. Beat together bananas and the sugar in mixing
bowl for 5 to 7 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
2. Add half of the flour mixture,
pour in the melted butter then add the rest of the flour mixture, mix just until combine and do not over beat.
3. Pour evenly into prepared pans. Bake and cool.
4. Frost the banana cake with whipped cream and garnish with banana chips and chopped walnuts.
Pan Sizes:
2 of 8"x3" pans for 25-30 minutes.
10x10x2" pan for 25-30 minutes.
12x16x2" pans for 30-40 minutes. (2 Recipes)
Filling Suggestions: Use fresh bananas and whipped cream, fresh banana custard, just plain custard or whipped cream. Some chocolate lovers fill the cake with chocolate whipped cream.
